Monster at the End of the Book

The 1970s generation of Sesame Street fans learned from the show’s timid blue muppet, Grover, not to fearĀ  monsters at the end of books. But now, thanks to a bizarre partnership between the show and the Department of Homeland Security, Grover will be fronting for Michael Chertoff’s creepy federal bureaucracy, which exists to let people know there may be monsters at the end of every book, and inside every bottle of hair gel. This is worse than when Kermit was enlisted as a celebrity spokesfrog for Doc Hopper.
